JTAX™ traces its origins to 2002, when a group of former Big Four professionals, including Japanese and international accountants, CPAs, and lawyers, established an independent professional services firm focused on supporting foreign businesses operating in Japan.
CEO Dean Page subsequently joined the firm after leading the PwC Pathfinder Group, which specialized in providing integrated tax, accounting, payroll, and related professional services to international clients.
Building on these Big Four foundations, JTAX™ has continued to develop its multidisciplinary approach, combining core tax and accounting expertise with complementary services such as company establishment, payroll administration, corporate support, and immigration. Our objective remains to provide international businesses with coordinated, one-stop professional services throughout their operations in Japan.
Today, our team comprises more than 30 professionals, including Japanese and international accountants and CPAs, licensed Japanese tax accountants (zeirishi), immigration specialists (gyoseishoshi), and labor and social security specialists (sharoshi).
At the heart of the JTAX™ approach is integrated professional services. We recognize that tax, accounting, payroll, corporate, and regulatory matters are closely interconnected for international businesses operating in Japan.
Our integrated approach provides two important advantages.
First, clients benefit from a single point of contact for a broad range of professional services, including corporate and individual tax, accounting, payroll, company establishment, corporate administration, and immigration support.
More importantly, our team understands how decisions in one area can affect obligations and opportunities in another. For example, the choice of business structure may have significant implications for corporate taxation, immigration, and employment arrangements.
By coordinating advice, we help clients address related requirements with a clear understanding of their broader business implications.
